Canon Powershot SD790 IS is very cool. I've been shopping around for a digital camera for a while, but I've always been put off by the prices. When I saw how cheap some were, I decided to finally shop around seriously. When I came across this camera, Canon PowerShot SD790IS 10MP stuck with me. Its solid construction, the big LCD screen, the face detection and Image Stabilization, 10 Mega Pixels, and customizing features at a reasonable price all appealed to me. I'm not a professional photographer, I just wanted a point and shoot camera, and let me tell you that this one goes above and beyond. My only criteria when shopping was that Canon PowerShot SD790IS 10MP be a solid camera, nice size LCD display, and 10 or above mega pixels. This one fit the bill perfectly. I actually like the flat Razr like buttons, they work great. So far, I take pictures of everything, and I love using the features like Color Swap, Color Accent, Digital Macro, and any shot you take will come out beautifully. It's also fast aswell. All in all, a great camera for the price. I actually feel its more camera for the price. Just having fun taking crystal clear pictures is enough to fork over the dough!
great little camera. I've owned a great many P&S cameras. I love the quality of the photos that come off of this camera. Although, ISO 800 and above are noticeably grainy. So I tend to stick with the lower ISOs.
It has nice features on Canon PowerShot SD790IS 10MP where you can select a color in a scene and only that color will appear vibrant while others will be black and white. Also like that you can edit photos right in the camera and change the color cast of the pictures right on board. The face detection feature is good too, even close up shots don't wash out the face when the flash fires.
The only thing I wish were better was the IS system. I think Sony has Canon beat with that, but that's just my opinion.
This is a great camera, small, slim, sleek. I would recommend Canon PowerShot SD790IS 10MP to anyone looking for a P&S now. But do, do research to find out what camera is best for your needs. (I frequent [...] for that information)
great find. Canon is the best brand on the market. Canon PowerShot SD790IS 10MP might not be the fanciest but has the best picture quality. I have had sonys, nikons, kodak, you name it, but this the best camera I have ever used. Captures every moment perfectly!
