Amazing. I had a 7.1 MP Canon and I when I saw this one I had to get one. I absolutely love it. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP is durable, fast, and does everything I need. The one gripe I have is the battery cover keeps open due to the way I hold it. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP is kind of a pain but Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP is not a huge problem. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP takes the most amazing pictures and the image stabilization helps with the fast and one handed pictures. I like this camera so much I have already bought Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP for my brothers family.
Good But!!!!!!!. This is the first time that I had a problem with a cannon camera, lens would not shut all the way and when Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP did Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP would come up with a lens error. This happened the first day i bought Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP and we were leaving in 2 days for vacation, so i took Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP and used it. Takes great pictures, i had a s500 befor this one and Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP still works great. I am still raiting this camera 5 star because Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP was just a fluk thing that happened only thing is I had to pay 15.00 to ship Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP to cannon and they replace lens asembly for free but, never got any money back. I recomend this camera, just because Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP doesnt matter about what megapixes you get is lens qulity that counts, you can look that up at [...]
Great replacement for my Nikon S3. I purchased this camera after extensive research. I have three kids and I love taking pictures. I have no time for the SLR so a point and shoot was my only option. I bought the Nikon S3 when Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP first came out (before reviews) and I regret it. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP takes AWEFUL lowlight pictures. I checked out the new Sony and Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP had all sorts of fun things including the touch screen but Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP took rotten lowlight pictures as well. I also checked out Olympus, Panasonic, another Canon and Pentex and none of them took good lowlight pictures.
Things I do miss about the Nikon - 1) Docking station for battery charging and uploading. Great feature. 2) Date stamping on every picture if I want. 3) More compact 4) Backlight mode 5) On camera cropping
Cons with the Canon - 1) the USB cable compartment is VERY hard to open and you can barely get the cable in. I fear that the door will eventually break. 2) No ability to perform on camera cropping.
Make sure you buy an extra battery and a bigger memory card.
