Great Product. I recently bought a Canon S3 IS camera and was pleased to note that Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery uses AA batteries rather than the costly rechargeable batteries I had in my Canon G2 (about $50 per). I didn't however want to go to the expense and bother of constantly having to replace AA batteries. I was delighted to find this rechargeable option and purchased. To date, Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery works great. I can use rechargeable batteries most of the time and have non-rechargeable batteries for emergencies (e.g., trips) Great find and purchase. Good value
These batteries really last. I went with the Canon batteries & charger to avoid any problems with the Canon digital camera they are used for. Whenever I've used rechargeable batteries in an electronic device, they never seem to last long enough. So for the camera, I went with the same brand batteries. I've taken probably 100 photos, use the flash and zoom often, and had the camera on for almost two hours straight in a photography class and the batteries still don't show any loss of power with respect to the camera's battery status indicator. And since this kit comes with 4 batteries, I always have 2 charged spares. Maybe cheaper rechargeables would work, but Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery wasn't worth the risk and hassle if they failed right when I needed them.
Agrivation saver!. These rechargable batteries and charging unit have saved me untold agrivation from dead or untimely battery failure. One of the worst was needing to take a last picture or two and have the batteries die in the camera and no new ones available.
If you take pictures with modern high power consuming cameras with big memories, you will need one of these. Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery kind of agrivation will be a thing of the past.
